Pond Friends - Pretty Pink Posh

Hey, crafty friends! Today, I am sharing a last-minute Valentine's Day card idea using the Pretty Pink Posh Pond Friends stamp set. First, I made the Lawn Fawn scalloped box card as directed and used just one type of patterned paper for all the panels. The one I used is from the This is Family Collection by Jen Hadfield for Pebbles .  I then used a light blue cardstock for the inserts. Since I don't have any wavy dies for the water, I used the scallop die from the Stitched Borders 1 die set and ran it upside down through my die cut machine. I then stamped the swans, the cluster of hearts, and stamped 2 bows from the Reindeer Friends stamp set. It's my favorite little bow and I like using it as a hair bow or a bow tie for the PPP people stamps. It's just the perfect size. Next, I did some easy Copic coloring using the following shades: Swan - BG0000 for shading Beak - YR02/00 Blush - R00 Bows - BG11/10 Hearts - R24/22 I cut the "You are very s...

Pretty Pink Posh - Bear Friends

Hello, friends!  I have a couple of box cards to share with you and they are both made using the Bear Friends stamp set.  First up is a birthday card that I made for my daughter.  In addition to the Bear Friends stamp set, I also use the Birthday Friends stamp set to create a fun birthday scene. I stamped the images in Memento Rich Cocoa ink. I then use my Scan n Cut machine to cut all the images and then I colored them with copic markers.  To build the box, as always... I use the Lawn Fawn Box Card Pop-Up Die. For the panels, I use gingham scrapbook paper and the following distress oxide inks - Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, and Twisted Citron.  The fun part was putting all the elements together. To complete the card, I took the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Party Friends stamp set, but only stamped the word “birthday” so that the front panel would read “Birthday bear hugs just for you.”  The second box card is a ...

Pretty Pink Posh - Fly Away Friends

Hello there!  It has only been a year since I got into clear stamps and coloring, so even the older releases are new to me.  Today, I am sharing another box card using an older Pretty Pink Posh stamp set called Fly Away Friends . I just love love love this stamp set. The images are adorable, the sentiments are beautiful, and there are a lot of different cards that can be made using just this one stamp set.  Let’s get to crafting, shall we! First, I built the box card using the Lawn Fawn die. Then I used Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink for the panels and glued them onto the box. I used patterned paper by Echo park for the bottom panels. For the clouds, I used Lawn Fawn Spring Showers dies and Rainbow Add-On dies, and inked the edges with Tumbled Glass distress oxides.  Next, I stamped the PPP images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers. I went with rainbow colors and used the following shades - R24/22/20, YR04/02/00/000, Y18/1...
