Thankful For You - Pretty Pink Posh

Hey crafty pals!  I have a cool box card to share. I had this idea of fitting the PPP mug into the Scallop Box Card , and guess what? It totally worked, and I'm beyond thrilled! So, let's dive into the nitty-gritty. I grabbed some Sage green cardstock and cut out the box card. I assembled the box and added in three inserts and jazzed things up with dies from the Fall Cornucopia and Fall Mug Additions Dies. I used Spellbinders cardstock for all those awesome dies. How adorable is that little fox peeking out of the mug, by the way? And speaking of the mug, I added a sweet design using the Deco Leaves Stencil and some Glacier White Ranges Pigment Ink . Now, here comes the fun part. I used the Fall Mug Additions Dies and Fall Cornucopia Dies to cut out various shapes in different cardstock colors. I glued these on the inserts, creating the cutest autumn scene you ever did see. Next up, I used hot foil to make the Thankful Script shine, cut it with the Thankful Shadow Die, and ...

Spooky Halloween - Pretty Pink Posh

Hey, friends! I'm excited to share a cute Halloween card using the awesome Halloween House die. It was a breeze to put together, and that's what I adore about this new die from the August 2023 release. To start, I cut the Halloween House twice - once in black glitter cardstock and another in white heavy weight cardstock. I used the white one as a stencil and inked through it on a white card panel. Using Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot, Milled Lavender, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, and Wilted Violet, I created a fantastic background. After tracing around the Halloween House die, I cut it to size and foam mounted it onto the card panel. For the main card panel, I blended Spun Sugar Distress Ink on an A2-sized white cardstock and added a textured spider web background using Finnabair Snowflake Paste through the Layered Spider Web Stencil . To make it even cooler, I splattered some rose gold ink on it. Next, I added a few cute ghosts cut from white glitter cardstock and...

Spooky Greetings - Pretty Pink Posh

Hi, crafty friends! I 'm excited to share a Halloween shaker card using the new Halloween Mug Addition Dies. I'm absolutely in love with the Winter Mug Dies and all the additions that were previously-released. And this Halloween set is no exception! To start, I created a 5-inch square background for my shaker by using the Layered Argyle Stencils on purple cardstock. I used some Distress Oxide inks like Black Soot and Wilted Violet. Then, I cut a square frame from white glitter cardstock and added acetate and foam tape around it to create the shaker well. Inside the shaker, I added some Halloween Candy Mix , and I also colored some of the small dies from the Halloween Mug Additions dies with copic markers before tossing them in. Next, I cut the mug from the Winter Mug Dies and added the Frankenstein elements from the new Halloween Mug Additions Dies . I ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks and glued the mug to the front of the card panel. For the sentiment, I cut the wor...

Boo - Pretty Pink Posh

Hey, friends! Today, I'm excited to share a Halloween shaker card using a mix of new and previously-released Pretty Pink Posh products. Let's jump right in! To start, I created a cute A2-sized background by applying orange watercolor on watercolor cardstock. Once it dried, I stenciled the adorable ghosts in Lost Shadow Distress Oxide. For their faces, I used Black Soot, and Wilted Violet for the stars. To make the shaker, I cut a frame from teal glitter cardstock, added acetate, and foam tape around it to create the shaker well. Inside, I used a combination of Spooky Glass Beads and 4MM Summer Sequins Mix as shaker bits. Since I wanted the ghosts to remain visible, I only added sentiments to the front of the card. I cut the word "boo" from the Large Boo Shadow in black glitter cardstock and the shadow die in vellum. For the sub-sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Sentiment Strips: Halloween Stamp Set and cut it using a rectangle scallop die from t...

For You - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello hello! Today I'm sharing an any-occasion card that is sure to make someone smile. For my card, I’m using the new Umbrella Shaker Die and the previously-released Spring Foliage Dies . What I love about this card is that there’s no Copic coloring involved. Yay!  To begin, I inked through the Grid Stencil with Salvaged Patina on a 4.5” square white cardstock. With the remaining ink on my brush, I ink blended through the white areas very lightly. I then took scraps of white cardstock and ink blended them with various Distress Oxide Inks, sprayed them with water that has a bit of white ink, and used these papers to cut out the flowers and the cute little sign. For the umbrella, I gave it a pattern by inking through the  Medium Polka Dots Stencil .  Here are the inks I used for this card:  Panel: Salvaged Patina Umbrella: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed Label: Vintage Photo Flowers: Bundled Sage, Dried Marigold, Dusty Concord, Kitsch Flamingo, Milled Lavender, Mow...

Missing You - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you a card I made using some of the new products from the May Release by Pretty Pink Posh. I used the Decorative Birdhouses Dies and the Stitched Birds Dies to create a lovely square-shaped card. To start, I made a 4.5 inch square card base in white cardstock and ink blended the front with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I used a heavy hand on the bottom area and brushed the top area with a lighter hand to create a nice ombre effect. Then, I cut a white cardstock into a 4 inch square and ink blended it with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink. I splattered some white ink on the card panel and card base for added texture. Next, I cut the birds, birdhouse, and florals in various color cardstock using the Decorative Birdhouses and Stitched Birds Dies. I love how easy it was to cut and layer these elements to create a beautiful scene on my card panel. I added a piece of baker's twine on the birdhouse for an extra touch of cuteness. To f...

Pretty Pink Posh May 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hey there, crafty friends ! Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh May 2023 Release Blog Hop! I'm so excited to share with you my latest handmade card creation using Pretty Pink Posh Decorative Birdhouses and Stitched Birds dies. It's such a fun and easy project to make, and I hope it inspires you to get creative and make your own beautiful cards. I started with a 4.5 inch square card base in white cardstock, and to add some pattern, I used the Swiss Dots Stencil with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink. To save some paper and time, I inked directly on the card base while keeping it folded to prevent any ink or paint from getting onto the back of the card. I then added splatters of white ink for added interest. Next, I cut out the birdhouse and stitched birds in various colors of cardstock and pieced them together. I love how these dies are so beautiful and versatile, and you can use different colors of cardstock to customize the birdhouse and birds. To make it even more fun, I turn...

You're the Tweetest - Pretty Pink Posh

Hi there, crafty friends! I am excited to share with you a recent card-making project I created using the Pretty Pink Posh Decorative Birdhouses Dies and the Stitched Bird Dies . I love that these dies allow me to create unique and colorful cards with various colors of cardstocks. For this particular card, I chose a color palette of pinks, purples, teals, and yellows. To create some depth and interest, I used a pink gingham patterned paper as the background for my card panel. I then added a green Stitched Leafy Border Die on the top portion of the card panel and decorated it with Spring Foliage Dies in pink, purple, and yellow. To create the focal point of the card, I used the birdhouse and bird dies and customized them using different colors of cardstock. I mounted the birdhouse on foam to create some dimension and glued the bird in front of the birdhouse. I also added more flowers on the left bottom corner of the birdhouse to complete the scene. For the sentiment, I stamped it ont...

Make a Wish - Pretty Pink Posh

Hi there! Today, I'm excited to share my latest creation with you - a fun, square-shaped shaker birthday card using stencils and dies from Pretty Pink Posh! If you're anything like me and adore the PPP layered stencils, then you're going to absolutely love the Layered Birthday Cakes Stencils . To create this card, I started with a 5" square white cardstock and used Gina K Amalgam Ink in Warm Glow to ink through the A layer of the stencils. For the B layer, I opted for vibrant shades of Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, and Twisted Citron, while for the C layer, I chose a delicate Spun Sugar. Lastly, I used Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink for the final layer. I specifically picked these colors to match the Birthday Cake Clay Confetti , which adds a playful touch to the design. To create the shaker element, I cut a square frame using square dies, added a sheet of acetate, and surrounded the frame with foam tape. I then arranged the clay confetti in the center of the ca...

You're the Tweetest - Pretty Pink Posh

Hey there, crafty friends! I'm so excited to show you my latest creation featuring the new Decorative Birdhouses Die, Stitched Birds Die, and Spring Foliage Die from Pretty Pink Posh. This circle-shaped card turned out so cute, and I can't wait to share all the details with you! To start off, I cut a 4.5 inch circle from some white cardstock and used the Layered Clouds Stencils with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to create a fluffy cloud background. Then, I matted the panel onto a 5 inch circle that I had ink blended with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink. The colors complemented each other so nicely! Using the Decorative Birdhouses Die , Stitched Birds Die , and Spring Foliage Die , I cut out all kinds of shapes from various colored cardstock. It was so easy and fun to mix and match all the different elements. I even used the Stitched Strip Dies to make a little stand for the birdhouse. Have a Happy Spring - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello hello! I have a Spring-themed card, featuring the new Easter Sentiments Stamp Set from PPP. I just adore the small images in this set and the sentiments fit in a label die that is included in the Easter Sentiments Coordinating Dies . The small images are easy to color and so fun to add in cards while the ornate die would make a great focal for a card, but I didn’t use it for my card.  My card starts with a 5” square white cardstock that is ink blended with Distress Oxide Ink in Antique Linen. I sprayed it with water for an oxidized effect. I then stamped the “Have a happy Spring” sentiment onto the center of the card panel. Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Easter Sentiments Stamp Set . I used the following Copic Sketch Markers: B02/000, BV01/00, RV13/11/10, W2/1/00, Y13/11, YG23/21, and YR02/000. I foam mounted the images around the border of the card. For embellishment, I glued some 4 and 6 mm Ballerina Pink Sequins. And lastly, I glued the card pan...
