Spooky Halloween - Pretty Pink Posh

Hey, friends! I'm excited to share a cute Halloween card using the awesome Halloween House die. It was a breeze to put together, and that's what I adore about this new die from the August 2023 release. To start, I cut the Halloween House twice - once in black glitter cardstock and another in white heavy weight cardstock. I used the white one as a stencil and inked through it on a white card panel. Using Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot, Milled Lavender, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, and Wilted Violet, I created a fantastic background. After tracing around the Halloween House die, I cut it to size and foam mounted it onto the card panel. For the main card panel, I blended Spun Sugar Distress Ink on an A2-sized white cardstock and added a textured spider web background using Finnabair Snowflake Paste through the Layered Spider Web Stencil . To make it even cooler, I splattered some rose gold ink on it. Next, I added a few cute ghosts cut from white glitter cardstock and...

Spooky Greetings - Pretty Pink Posh

Hi, crafty friends! I 'm excited to share a Halloween shaker card using the new Halloween Mug Addition Dies. I'm absolutely in love with the Winter Mug Dies and all the additions that were previously-released. And this Halloween set is no exception! To start, I created a 5-inch square background for my shaker by using the Layered Argyle Stencils on purple cardstock. I used some Distress Oxide inks like Black Soot and Wilted Violet. Then, I cut a square frame from white glitter cardstock and added acetate and foam tape around it to create the shaker well. Inside the shaker, I added some Halloween Candy Mix , and I also colored some of the small dies from the Halloween Mug Additions dies with copic markers before tossing them in. Next, I cut the mug from the Winter Mug Dies and added the Frankenstein elements from the new Halloween Mug Additions Dies . I ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks and glued the mug to the front of the card panel. For the sentiment, I cut the wor...

Boo - Pretty Pink Posh

Hey, friends! Today, I'm excited to share a Halloween shaker card using a mix of new and previously-released Pretty Pink Posh products. Let's jump right in! To start, I created a cute A2-sized background by applying orange watercolor on watercolor cardstock. Once it dried, I stenciled the adorable ghosts in Lost Shadow Distress Oxide. For their faces, I used Black Soot, and Wilted Violet for the stars. To make the shaker, I cut a frame from teal glitter cardstock, added acetate, and foam tape around it to create the shaker well. Inside, I used a combination of Spooky Glass Beads and 4MM Summer Sequins Mix as shaker bits. Since I wanted the ghosts to remain visible, I only added sentiments to the front of the card. I cut the word "boo" from the Large Boo Shadow in black glitter cardstock and the shadow die in vellum. For the sub-sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Sentiment Strips: Halloween Stamp Set and cut it using a rectangle scallop die from t...

Happy Halloween - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello friends! I have a Halloween card to share today, using a combination of older and new stamps from Pretty Pink Posh. Let’s get started! I first cut a panel in white cardstock to 4x7 inches and ink blended it with Mustard Seed , Fossilized Amber , Ripe Persimmon , and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. I then splattered some black acrylic paint and also used Nuvo Crystal Drops in White over the Layered Ghosts Stencil (Layer C) for the stars. When dry, the stars turned yellow because of the ink behind it.  Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the following stamp sets: Halloween Critters - bear, bunny Halloween Envelopes - ghost, bats, spider Halloween Wreath - ghost, bat, spider, Happy Halloween sentiment (white heat embossed) Village - village shops, lamp post The stamped images are glued and foam mounted on the panel. I then cut 2 of the Boo Script, glued it together for added dimension, and glued on the left side of the card. Lastly, I made a card base in ora...

You Are Spooktacular - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello crafty friends! I have an easy-to-make Halloween card. I love that I can make a quick card with the new Layered Pumpkins Stencils. I started out with a light pink cardstock and ink blended through the Layered Pumpkins Stencils with Distress Oxide Inks in Kitsch Flamingo , Mowed Lawn , Picked Raspberry , and Vintage Photo . I then cut the panel using the largest die in the Wonky Stitched Rectangles dies.  For the sentiment, I stamped the You Are part directly on the stenciled panel. I then stamped Spectacular in Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink and cut it with the coordinating die. The sentiment is from the Halloween Critters Stamp Set. I cut the Spectacular die a few times and stacked it for dimension.  I then foam mounted the panel onto a violet card base. For the inside of the card, I added a Wonky Stitched Rectangle in white cardstock and inked the edges with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink. That’s all for this simple, yet oh-so-cute Halloween card. Thanks so muc...

Halloween Mini Cards - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello friends! Today I am sharing Halloween mini cards. These are so easy to make and there’s no coloring involved (yay).  These mini cards measure 2.75” square. The panels are patterned paper (Doodlebug Design Inc. Candy Carnival) that I cut with a square die . I then cut 4 of the Spider Web die in white cardstock and 4 spiders in black cardstock. I also glued a small piece of white cardstock for the eyes and mouth of the spider. Next, I cut 4 banners from the Halloween Envelopes Coordinating Die and stamped Happy Halloween on them (from the Boo Stamp Set).  I adhered all the elements onto the cards and trimmed off the spider web , so that the card can fit inside the envelope. Lastly, I stamped the Halloween Borders on the envelopes in different inks to match the cards.  These mini cards are perfect for Trick or Treat bags for friends and family. I hope that I’ve inspired you to create some. Have a great day!

Halloween Wreath Box Card - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello hello! Today, I have a Halloween box card in pretty pastel colors. For this box, I used the new Halloween Wreath Stamp Set . I love all the previously-released Pretty Pink Posh wreath stamps and so happy that there is a Halloween version now. This is just so fun to color and the size of it makes it easy to fill up a card.   I first ink blended Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink through the new Candy Background Stencil  before cutting the panels for the card box. I then assembled the box using Heffy Doodle Big Shadow Box Die  and die cut a 3 inch circle in the middle of one of the panels. This opening is the perfect size for the wreath to be glued on top of later. I added 2 grass inserts inside the box using Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink. For the background, I used the new  Spooky Sky Stencils  to make my own patterned paper: the clouds were blended with Tumbled Glass, bats with Wilted Violet, and stars with Mustard Seed. I then stamped the Hal...
