Happy Birthday - Heffy Doodle

Hello crafty friends!  I have a square-shaped birthday card using Heffy Doodle products. It’s a simple design and easy to recreate. To begin, I cut a 5” blue cardstock and a 4.5” white cardstock. I adhered the white panel on the larger panel, using the Heffy Doodle Glubert . I wanted one more layer, so I cut a 4” white cardstock. I then ink blended Mustard Seed , Kitsch Flamingo , and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks through the Lots of Happy Stencils .  For dimension, I foam mounted this panel to the white and blue cardstock.  Next, I cut the Happy Birthday Shadow Heffy Cuts using vellum for the shadow die and gray cardstock for the script. To adhere to the panel, I turned the script die over and used the words as a guide for the glue.  Lastly, for the card base, I cut a 5” square , scored at the .25” mark and adhered the flap to the panel.  That’s all for this birthday card. I hope you enjoyed today’s card share. Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Cats - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello crafty friends! Today, I have a Halloween box card filled with the cutest Pretty Pink Posh cats and their treats from Halloween night. Let’s start! I first assembled the box using the My Favorite Things Dies-namics - Outside the Box Level Up .  For the design, I ink blended Shaded Lilac through the new Trellis Stencil . I just love using stencils for a patterned paper look and Pretty Pink Posh has a variety to choose from, so make sure to check them out on the website.  Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo ink, colored with Copic markers, and cut with their coordinating dies.  The images I used for this card are from different stamp sets:  Cats - Cuddly Cats Stamp Set Candies, witch hats (fussy cut from the wreath), spider - Halloween Wreath Stamp Set Cat in Circle, pumpkins on the sides of the box (fussy cut) - Halloween Circles Small pumpkin bags - Halloween Friends Stamp Set Sentiment - Halloween Pals Stamp Set I adhered the images with ...

There's No Place Like Home - Heffy Doodle

Hello, crafty friends! I have a simple Heffy Doodle card to share today. The best part is - there’s no coloring involved! Yay!! To create, I first cut a 5” square in white cardstock. I also cut two 4.5” square in white cardstock. I ink blended one of these with Tattered Rose and spritzed with water for an oxidized effect. For the other one, I cut the house and trees with the Little Town Border Dies . I then adhered this scene onto the inked panel.  Next, I tied a white string around the Little Town die for added interest. Then I foam mounted it to the larger panel. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a card base, which is a 5” square that I scored and folded at the .25” mark.  I hope you enjoyed today’s card share! Have a great day!

Halloween Wreath Box Card - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello hello! Today, I have a Halloween box card in pretty pastel colors. For this box, I used the new Halloween Wreath Stamp Set . I love all the previously-released Pretty Pink Posh wreath stamps and so happy that there is a Halloween version now. This is just so fun to color and the size of it makes it easy to fill up a card.   I first ink blended Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink through the new Candy Background Stencil  before cutting the panels for the card box. I then assembled the box using Heffy Doodle Big Shadow Box Die  and die cut a 3 inch circle in the middle of one of the panels. This opening is the perfect size for the wreath to be glued on top of later. I added 2 grass inserts inside the box using Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink. For the background, I used the new  Spooky Sky Stencils  to make my own patterned paper: the clouds were blended with Tumbled Glass, bats with Wilted Violet, and stars with Mustard Seed. I then stamped the Hal...
