Hello - Spellbinders Dies

Hello crafty friends! Today, I am sharing this square-shaped card that is made using all dies. I love a no-coloring type of day and I had so much fun putting this adorable front door scene together. Let's get started! I went through my scrap drawer and picked out some patterned papers for my card. I used mostly papers from a 6x6 Carta Bella Paper pad. This is an older set and is no longer available, but I found some of the 12x12 sheets here .  For my card, I cut a panel in blue gingham patterned paper down to 5.5 inches square. I then cut and assembled all the elements that I used for the card.  Here is a complete list of products used: Spellbinders Open House Door Base Spellbinders Open House Spring Spellbinders Open House Topiary Thanks for stopping by! I hope that you like my card!

Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop! My card today features the new Spring Foliage Dies and Mini Grid Stencil . Let's begin! I first cut a 4 inch x 5.25 inch panel and ink blended it with Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry, Kitsch Flamingo, and Spun Sugar. I splattered water to have an oxidized effect. Next, I cut a stitched tag die and brushed through the Mini Grid Stencil using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I then stamped the sentiment onto the tag in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and adhered the tag onto the card panel. Next, I cut some flowers and leaves using the Spring Foliage Dies in various colored cardstock. I adhered most of the flowers with liquid glue onto the tag and a few were foam mounted for dimension. For added texture and interest, I adhered some Pink Blush Pearls here and there. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto an A2 sized card base.  That's all for my simple, but beaut...

Construction Trucks - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello crafty friends! Today, I am sharing a fun slimline card using a combination of new stamps and previously-released dies from PPP.  I first cut a slimline panel in white cardstock and used the Layered Roads Stencil A  to create the dirt background. I inked it with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and then sprayed it with water for an oxidized effect. Next, I cut a larger panel that measures 3.5 inch x 8.5 inch in black cardstock. I also cut a few strips of yellow cardstock and adhered them onto the black cardstock diagonally. I then adhered the 2 panels together using liquid glue. For the sentiment, I stamped it onto the card panel using  Versafine Onyx black ink. Next, I stamped and colored the images from the Construction Trucks Stamp Set. I love these trucks and I colored them yellow to look like the Tonka trucks that my nephew used to play with when he was younger.  I cut the images with their coordinating dies and foam mounted them onto the card panel.
