Mama Elephant - Wish Upon a Star

Hey, crafty peeps! Today I am sharing a super simple, easy to make, slimline card using stamps from the Mama Elephant Wish Upon a Star stamp set. The size of the card is 8.5 x 3.5 inches and I used the slimline dies from Trinity Stamps. I love that they have different slimline dies available. For the first layer, I used the Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. The second layer is a scrapbook paper from Echo Paper and it is actually the back side of a 4x4 journaling cards sheet. The item number is BB172006, in case you were interested. I love patterned papers, especially if I can use them for a scene for a card. Next, I cut white cardstock using the cloud die from the Trinity Stamp Scenic Border Die Set. I adhered it down using foam adhesive for some dimension. I chose three little bunnies to stamp, color, and die cut using the coordinating dies. I also stamped and cut the cloud twice. Copic colors used are - W00, W0, W1, and W3 for the bunnies; Y00, Y13, Y15 ...

Large Floral Hearts

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I am sharing a slimline card using the Large Floral Hearts stamps set and the adorable mice from the Party Friends stamps set. My slimline card measures 3.5 x 8.5 inches. The base is a white rectangle cardstock stitched with a light green thread onto a pink scallop rectangle. I stamped the heart floral stamp three times, colored with Copic markers, and cut using the coordinating dies. I used the following colors for the flowers and leaves - R20, R21, R22, R24, G40, and G21. Next, I stamped the mice from Party Friends and colored with the following - NO, N1, ROOO, and R20 for the blush and around the sign. For the sentiments, I used “love you always” and “I love us” from the Large Floral Hearts stamps set, embossed with white ink onto a black cardstock. Then for the banner, I stamped “xoxo” from the Floral Hearts stamps set. I simply rotated the stamp upside down to spell “oxox.” The last step is adhering everything and I used foam tape fo...

LOVE.

Hello, lovelies! It's Valentine's Theme Week at Pretty Pink Posh and the Design Team is sharing inspiration on the blog and social media all week. Also, all items under the Valentine category are on sale so make sure to check the site. I absolutely adore the Love stamp set and I made this card with it: I get a lot of DM's asking about the slimline die cuts - the ones I have are from Trinity Stamps . Whimsy Stamps also have slimline die cuts and there are different designs so make sure to check their site as well.  For this card, I used the following Copic colors - R00, R0, R20, R21, R22, R24, G00, YR00 and B000. The background is made using the following distress oxides - Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, and Spun Sugar.  I adhered LOVE using foam tape and realized that it is not centered. I fixed it by adding a small heart as a period and scattered heart-shaped flowers all around. I'm hoping these extra stamps help fix the  centering problem. E...

Party Friends

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I am sharing a happy birthday pop-up box card using the new Party Friends stamp set. To start, I created the Lawn Fawn pop-up box as directed, in Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. The patterned paper that I used are from Echo Park Happy Birthday 6x6 paper pad. Next, I stamped the adorable critters from the Party Friends set on white 110lb cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo black ink. I colored them with the following Copic sketch markers and die cut with the coordinating dies: Mice - N0, N1, R00 Koala - 0, C1, C3 Cake - BG10, BG11, BG15, Y11, Y13, Y15, V12, V15, RV00, RV10, RV11 Lion - Y21, Y23, Y26, E000, E00, E11 Gift - RV10, RV11, RV13, V12, V15, V17 I then stamped “make a wish” to the banner that the cute little mice are holding. Next, I stamped “happy birthday” to a rectangular piece and stamped the confettis around the sentiment. I used the same copic markers mentioned above. It was so much fun to stamp the confettis to cre...
