Hello, crafty friends!

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Pink and Main Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop!

Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies!

Today, I have 2 cards to share. First one is a Big Shadow Box card featuring Heffy Doodle Quill You Be Mine stamp set and Pink and Main Daisy Bugs and Bright Side stamp sets. First, I built the box as directed, using Blueberry Bliss cardstock. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment onto the card. I then cut a rectangle panel in white cardstock, stenciled in clouds in Tumbled Glass distress oxide, and added blue dots with a gel pen. Next, I made the grass inserts using Grassy Lass border dies, ink blended Twisted Citron distress oxide, and added green dots with a gel pen. I stamped the images from the stamp sets mentioned above, and colored with Copic markers - E74/71/70/00/000/0000, YG23/21, Y15/13/11, RV25/23/21. Lastly, I adhered the images to create this adorable scene. My favorite is the little hedgehog with a flower umbrella!

My second card is a Circle Easel card, using Heffy Doodle Perfect Day stamp set and Pink and Main Bright Side stamp set. To begin, I die cut 2 of the 4.5 in circle die in white cardstock. One will be for the bottom of the card and the other one will be for the easel element. I also cut a yellow circle for the front of the card. To make the easel element, score one of the white circles at the 2 inch and 4 inch marks. You will then make a Z fold. Adhere the folded up side to the front of the card (yellow) and the folded down side to the the other white circle. Here is a link to a short clip of a similar card that I've made - https://youtu.be/tGd62NWw9pI

For this card, I cut another circle that I inked blended using the Heffy Doodle Cloudy Skies Stencil in Broken China and Tumbled Glass distress oxides. I then splattered with white and black acrylic paints. I stamped my images from the Heffy Doodle Perfect Day stamp set and Pink and Main Bright Side stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah 110 lb cardstock. I colored with Copic Markers and cut with their coordinating dies. I then adhered the images onto my card using my new favorite glue to make this whimsical cats on clouds scene. Lastly, I added jewels here and there for added interest and texture.

Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration Blog Hop! Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies! For this fun collaboration, I made a slimline birthday card. To begin, I stamped, colored, and cut images from Gerda Steiner Designs - On the Table , On the Bookshelf and the new Heffy Doodle Popping By stamp set. I then cut the largest rectangle from the Heffy Doodle Stitched Slimline Trio Dies in white cardstock. For my table, I used the Ain't So Plaid Stencil and inked with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. The top portion is ink blended with Tattered Rose and I splattered some black and rose gold acrylic paint for interest. I then white heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock. Next, I adhered the elements down onto the card. Lastly, I adhered my panel onto a slimline card base. October Release 2023 Blog Hop - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh October 2023 Release Blog Hop! For my card, I started out with a light blue cardstock that measures 4.5 inches square. I stenciled through the Winter Words with Finnabair Snowflake Paste for a fun background. I then made a mug shaker using the Winter Mug Dies and the cutout to make a window for the shaker is from the Birthday Mug Additions Dies. The shaker bits are from the Christmas Cookie Shaker Beads . I used various colors of cardstock from Spellbinders for my card. I added a cute little bird from the Holiday Birds Dies and a couple gifts using the rectangle pieces from the Build A Stocking Dies. The rest of the die cuts are from the new Holiday Mug Additions Dies.  Then I added some pink dots on the greenery with Liquid Pearls in Ballerina. Lastly, I glued the card panel onto a 4.5-inch square card base. Make sure to check out the rest of the Hop for more inspiration using the new products from Pretty Pink Posh! There are 4 $30 g

Pretty Pink Posh February 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh February 2023 Release Blog Hop and happy  9th birthday, PPP!  Today, I’m sharing a birthday card and a gift card holder that I made using dies and stencils from the new Birthday Release.  For my card, I started with an A2-sized white cardstock that I ink blended with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed some water for an oxidized effect and also splattered some white ink on it. I then took a scrap of white cardstock and used finger daubers to ink blend Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow colors. I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Lucky Clover, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet. I sprayed water, splattered white ink, and cut the rainbow colored panel with the WISH die. I also cut the flame from the Birthday Mug Addition Dies and ink blended it with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink.  Next, I stamped the sentiments with black ink then foam mounted WISH and the flame on the card panel. I also added some pearls for inter
