January 2022 Blog Hop - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello friends and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh January Release Blog Hop!

Shaker cards are so much fun to make and Pretty Pink Posh has beautiful confettis and other shaker bits to choose from. For my card, I used the new Love Sprinkles Clay Confetti. I just love the color combo and this mix definitely inspired the color palette of my card.

To start, I cut an A2 size panel in white cardstock and ink blended it with Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Inks. I then splattered white acrylic paint and when it dried, I cut the center with a large oval die to create a frame for my shaker card. I taped the scallop oval frame onto the panel, adhered a clear acetate, and stamped the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment. I then added foam tape around the frame to make a well for the confetti mix. I added the shaker bits and sandwiched it with a panel that I ink blended in Picked Raspberry and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Inks.

The images are from the Love Balloon and Sending Love stamp sets. I colored them with Copic markers:

Beaver - E47/44/43/42
Bunny - W5/3/1
pinks - RV25/23/21
violets - V17/15/12

I adhered all the images with liquid glue. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto an A2 card base.

That's all for my fun shaker Valentine's Day card. I hope that I've inspired you to create a shaker card!

Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration Blog Hop! Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies! For this fun collaboration, I made a slimline birthday card. To begin, I stamped, colored, and cut images from Gerda Steiner Designs - On the Table , On the Bookshelf and the new Heffy Doodle Popping By stamp set. I then cut the largest rectangle from the Heffy Doodle Stitched Slimline Trio Dies in white cardstock. For my table, I used the Ain't So Plaid Stencil and inked with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. The top portion is ink blended with Tattered Rose and I splattered some black and rose gold acrylic paint for interest. I then white heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock. Next, I adhered the elements down onto the card. Lastly, I adhered my panel onto a slimline card base. Hello friends! The big day is finally here - the Pretty Pink Posh August 10th Release is live and now available! Today, I have a fun and simple Halloween card using the new Halloween Wreath Stamp Set . To begin, I cut a light pink cardstock down to 4.5” x 4.5” and ink blended Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink through the Spider Web Stencil. I then cut the panel with a 4” circle die. I sprayed with water to create the oxidized effect, then splattered with a little bit of black and white acrylic paints.   Next, I white heat embossed the Halloween wreath onto a light gray cardstock and cut with the coordinating die . I colored the stars yellow. I then stamped, colored, and cut 3 of the adorable spider from the same Halloween Wreath Stamp Set. The wreath is foam mounted on the pink web and the spiders are foam mounted on the wreath for added dimension.  For the sentiment, I white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock and glued to the center of the wreath. I then cut a bigger
