Pretty Pink Posh January 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh January 2023 Release Blog Hop. Today I am sharing a super sweet box card filled with the yummiest chocolates that is sure to bring a smile to your card recipient.

I first want to share a secret - this Pretty Pink Posh box die will be available soon! I am so obsessed with making box cards and I know that a lot of you have asked which dies I used. Paulina has got us covered with this new die. A few things I love about this box die - the scallop edged panels, the perforated lines for easy folding (no need to score), and the size is just perfect (small and easy to fill with some stamped images or die cuts).

For my card, I cut a pink cardstock using the box die and assembled as directed (super easy to put together). I then ink blended through the Layered XOXO Stencil with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink. I used the same ink for the “O” but with a light hand. I then ink blended scraps of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Inks in Vintage Photo, Ground Espresso, Gathered Twigs, and Walnut Stain. I cut the chocolates from the Valentine Mug Additions and Candy Treats Dies. I just love how these turned out! I topped off with Liquid Pearls in Ballerina and White Opal.

I glued the chocolate pieces onto the inserts of the box and some on the side panels, as well. For the sentiment, I stamped “You’re So Sweet” in Vintage Photo on the front panel and added one more sweet treat.

That’s all for this super sweet card. I’m excited for this box card to be released and I know that you will enjoy creating cards with this die.

Make sure to check out the rest of the Hop for more inspiration using the new products from Pretty Pink Posh! There are 3 $30 gift certificates up for grabs (one winner each day). Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration Blog Hop! Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies! For this fun collaboration, I made a slimline birthday card. To begin, I stamped, colored, and cut images from Gerda Steiner Designs - On the Table , On the Bookshelf and the new Heffy Doodle Popping By stamp set. I then cut the largest rectangle from the Heffy Doodle Stitched Slimline Trio Dies in white cardstock. For my table, I used the Ain't So Plaid Stencil and inked with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. The top portion is ink blended with Tattered Rose and I splattered some black and rose gold acrylic paint for interest. I then white heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock. Next, I adhered the elements down onto the card. Lastly, I adhered my panel onto a slimline card base. 3D Paper Christmas Trees - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh October Release Blog Hop!!! Hello crafty friends! I have made the cutest 3D paper Christmas trees using the Pine Trees dies and I'm very excited to share some tips and tricks for making these trees. The Pine Trees include 3 different sizes and I was able to cut 4 of each from an 8.5" x 11" cardstock. The work is tedious, but the end result makes it all worthwhile. Just enjoy the process ;) Once all the pieces are cut, simply score in half and glue one side to the other. The more trees you add, the fluffier it gets. Here is my first tip: use a binder clip to keep the trees in place while the glue dries. I used 10 trees each for these pink ones: I cut some snowflakes from the Winter Mug dies and used them as tree toppers. How about some pretty, pink, posh ghosts? (You like what I did there? Hehe) The ghost die cut is also included in the Winter Mug dies. You can add a little bit of glue or just tuck it in-between the pages of the ...

Merriest Christmas Wishes - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello friends. I'm here to show you a super easy Christmas shaker card made possible by the new Pretty Pink Posh Tree Cover Plate . I get really excited when I can whip up a card in just a few minutes. Let's get started! First, I cut the Tree Cover Plate from light pink cardstock and glued a sheet of clear acetate on the back. I added foam tape all around the edges and in the spaces between the trees. Then, I sprinkled in some Christmas Cookie Shaker Beads . After that, I peeled off the backing of the foam tape and glued on a patterned paper that's A2-sized. For the words, I used white heat embossed with a saying from the Sentiment Strips: Christmas Stamp Set on red cardstock. Then, I cut it out with a die from the Sentiment Strip Dies and gave it some extra pop by mounting it with foam. To make things extra special, I added Metallic Gold Pearls here and there for a touch of sparkle. I'm just thrilled with how quickly this card came together. I hope it gets your cre...
