Birthday Card - Pretty Pink Posh

Hi, crafty friends! It’s Leica here. Today, I have a lovely birthday card using the Floral Corners stamp set that I just can’t seem to put away and the Easter Basket Dies that is perfect not only for Easter but year-round.

To start, I cut a panel in white cardstock using the Stitched Notes Dies. Using the Wide Stripes stencil, I then ink blended the panel in Milled Lavender distress oxide. For added interest, I splattered with black and gold acrylic paint

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the flowers from the Floral Corners stamp set. I used Copic Sketch markers in B38/34/32/0000, Y13, YG67/63/61, and RV69/66/63. I then cut the Easter Basket in light gray cardstock.

The sentiment is from the Let’s Party stamp set. I white heat embossed it on black cardstock that I cut using the Simple Strips Dies

I then adhered the panel onto the card base and also adhered the basket onto the panel. The flowers are foam mounted for dimension. Next, I glued the sentiment onto the basket. It wouldn’t be a Pretty Pink Posh card without any jewels, so I added some Sparkling Clear Jewels here and there for added interest and texture to the card.

That’s all, folks! I hope you enjoyed today’s card share. The Easter Basket die is super cute and great for any occasion. You can add flowers, critters, or maybe make a basket-shaped tag or a mini card with it. How about making it into a hot air balloon?! The possibilities are endless!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration Blog Hop! Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies! For this fun collaboration, I made a slimline birthday card. To begin, I stamped, colored, and cut images from Gerda Steiner Designs - On the Table , On the Bookshelf and the new Heffy Doodle Popping By stamp set. I then cut the largest rectangle from the Heffy Doodle Stitched Slimline Trio Dies in white cardstock. For my table, I used the Ain't So Plaid Stencil and inked with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. The top portion is ink blended with Tattered Rose and I splattered some black and rose gold acrylic paint for interest. I then white heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock. Next, I adhered the elements down onto the card. Lastly, I adhered my panel onto a slimline card base. 3D Paper Christmas Trees - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh October Release Blog Hop!!! Hello crafty friends! I have made the cutest 3D paper Christmas trees using the Pine Trees dies and I'm very excited to share some tips and tricks for making these trees. The Pine Trees include 3 different sizes and I was able to cut 4 of each from an 8.5" x 11" cardstock. The work is tedious, but the end result makes it all worthwhile. Just enjoy the process ;) Once all the pieces are cut, simply score in half and glue one side to the other. The more trees you add, the fluffier it gets. Here is my first tip: use a binder clip to keep the trees in place while the glue dries. I used 10 trees each for these pink ones: I cut some snowflakes from the Winter Mug dies and used them as tree toppers. How about some pretty, pink, posh ghosts? (You like what I did there? Hehe) The ghost die cut is also included in the Winter Mug dies. You can add a little bit of glue or just tuck it in-between the pages of the ...

September Release Blog Hop - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello everyone and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh September Release Blog Hop! Today, I have a square-shaped Autumn card to share with you all. For this card, I used the new Fall Corners Stamp Set .  Let's get started!  I first cut a 4.5" square in kraft cardstock and ink blended the bottom with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink. I then cut a 4"square in white cardstock and ink blended it with Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks. I sprayed some water for an oxidized effect and added dots using a white gel pen and Copic E44 marker. I adhered the smaller panel onto the larger one. To soften the background, I cut a 4" square in vellum . The beautiful pumpkin images from the Fall Corners Stamp Set are stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink on 110lb white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  Pumpkins:  E77/74/71/70, V12 W5/3/1 Y28/26/23/21 Leaves : E44/43/41 G99/46/43 W3/1/0, 00  Stems: E49/47 I cut the images with their coordinating dies ...
