Pretty Pink Posh - May Release

Hello, crafty friends!

I’m excited to share a couple cards I made using new stamp sets that releases on May 3rd. Today, I am featuring the Spring Circles Stamp Set and Floral Bouquets Stamp Set.

For the first project, I made a slimline card using the Spring Circles stamp set and coordinating dies. To begin, I cut a 3.5” x 8.5” panel and inked with Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet distress oxides. I then cut 3 scallop circles from Valentine Circles dies and inked the first one in Tattered Rose. For the 2nd circle, I inked in the top half with Tattered Rose and the bottom with Victorian Velvet. The 3rd circle was inked with Victorian Velvet.

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from Spring Circles stamp set. I adhered each one to the scallop circles.

I then white heat embossed the sentiments from the Simple Sentiments Stamp Set on a strip of black cardstock. Lastly, I adhered all the elements down onto my card panel.

The Spring Circles coordinating dies come with a unique piece that I used to make a matching tag for my card. I hope you like this bonus!

For the second card, I stamped, colored, and cut the beautiful flowers from the Flower Bouquets stamp set.

I then cut a 3.5” x 8.5” panel and inked with Wilted Violet, Milled Lavender, and Spun Sugar. To add interest, I sprayed some water and splattered acrylic paint on the panel. Next, I cut the new Slimline: Floral Cover die set in white cardstock. I then cut the sentiment from the You Are Special Script die set in gold glitter cardstock.

Next, I cut a white cardstock to go behind the floral cover die to make the gold sentiment stand out more. I then adhered it onto the inked panel. The floral bouquets were adhered with liquid glue and the one in the pot was foam mounted for dimension. I thought my card needed something else, so I added the cute little birds from the Spring Robins Stamp Set. By the way, I had an extra image that didn’t make it on my card, so I made a matching tag.

I hope that you like my cards and tags and that I’ve inspired you to create with these 2 beautiful stamp sets.

Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration Blog Hop! Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies! For this fun collaboration, I made a slimline birthday card. To begin, I stamped, colored, and cut images from Gerda Steiner Designs - On the Table , On the Bookshelf and the new Heffy Doodle Popping By stamp set. I then cut the largest rectangle from the Heffy Doodle Stitched Slimline Trio Dies in white cardstock. For my table, I used the Ain't So Plaid Stencil and inked with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. The top portion is ink blended with Tattered Rose and I splattered some black and rose gold acrylic paint for interest. I then white heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock. Next, I adhered the elements down onto the card. Lastly, I adhered my panel onto a slimline card base. 3D Paper Christmas Trees - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh October Release Blog Hop!!! Hello crafty friends! I have made the cutest 3D paper Christmas trees using the Pine Trees dies and I'm very excited to share some tips and tricks for making these trees. The Pine Trees include 3 different sizes and I was able to cut 4 of each from an 8.5" x 11" cardstock. The work is tedious, but the end result makes it all worthwhile. Just enjoy the process ;) Once all the pieces are cut, simply score in half and glue one side to the other. The more trees you add, the fluffier it gets. Here is my first tip: use a binder clip to keep the trees in place while the glue dries. I used 10 trees each for these pink ones: I cut some snowflakes from the Winter Mug dies and used them as tree toppers. How about some pretty, pink, posh ghosts? (You like what I did there? Hehe) The ghost die cut is also included in the Winter Mug dies. You can add a little bit of glue or just tuck it in-between the pages of the ...

September Release Blog Hop - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello everyone and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh September Release Blog Hop! Today, I have a square-shaped Autumn card to share with you all. For this card, I used the new Fall Corners Stamp Set .  Let's get started!  I first cut a 4.5" square in kraft cardstock and ink blended the bottom with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink. I then cut a 4"square in white cardstock and ink blended it with Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks. I sprayed some water for an oxidized effect and added dots using a white gel pen and Copic E44 marker. I adhered the smaller panel onto the larger one. To soften the background, I cut a 4" square in vellum . The beautiful pumpkin images from the Fall Corners Stamp Set are stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink on 110lb white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  Pumpkins:  E77/74/71/70, V12 W5/3/1 Y28/26/23/21 Leaves : E44/43/41 G99/46/43 W3/1/0, 00  Stems: E49/47 I cut the images with their coordinating dies ...
