You're So Sweet - Pretty Pink Posh

Hi crafty friends. Today I am sharing a square-shaped card today, using the strawberry die from the Valentine Mug Addition Dies . This set is a perfect addition to the previously-released Winter Mug Dies .  I first cut a 5” square white cardstock and ink blended it through the Grid Stencil with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I then cut the Wonky Stitched Square in patterned paper. You can also make a gingham pattern with the  Wide Stripes or the Pinstripe Stencil . I then stamped the sentiment in the center of the wonky square panel. I foam mounted it on the card panel and added jewels for added interest.  For the strawberries, I watercolored scraps of paper in red, green, brown, and white pearlescent. I sprayed some water for an oxidized effect and also splattered some white ink on it. I then took a scrap of white cardstock and used finger daubers to ink blend Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow colors. I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Lucky Clover, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet. I sprayed water, splattered white ink, and cut the rainbow colored panel with the WISH die. I also cut the flame from the Birthday Mug Addition Dies and ink blended it with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink.  Next, I stamped the sentiments with black ink then foam mounted WISH and the flame on the card panel. I also added some pearls for inter
