February New Arrivals - Spellbinders

Hello friends! Spellbinders has a new release and I've made some Thank You cards with the latest products. One can never have enough Thank You cards, amiright?!

My first card features the Scrolled Punch & Pierce Plate Etched Die and the Four Petal Thank You Floral Etched Dies. I used the following cardstocks:

Card base: Glacier
Scrolled Punch & Pierce Plate Etched panel: Graphite
Branch and leaves: Lunar Gray, Silver Fox
Florals: Barely Peach, Beeswax, Dahlia, Saffron, Wild Berry
Sentiment: Raindrop

For my second card, I used the Four Petal Thank You Floral Etched Dies as the focal point. The background panel is the Four Petal Floral 3D Embossing Folder in Portobello cardstock. The sentiment is hot foiled and foam mounted on the card panel. I used the following cardstocks:

Card base: Pink Sand
Branch and leaves: Peridot, Rainforest

My last card is simple yet elegant. I used Forest cardstock for the card base and panel. I ran the cardstock through the die cutting machine with the Four Petal Floral 3D Embossing Folder and added the small ornate element from the Scrolled Punch & Pierce Plate Etched Die. I then brush some white pigment ink on the raised areas of the embossed panel. The sentiment is hot foiled with gold on white cardstock.

For all 3 cards, I used the white gems from the Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope that you'll check out these new items from the Spellbinders shop and that I've inspired you to create some cards. Have a great day!

Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration Blog Hop! Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies! For this fun collaboration, I made a slimline birthday card. To begin, I stamped, colored, and cut images from Gerda Steiner Designs - On the Table , On the Bookshelf and the new Heffy Doodle Popping By stamp set. I then cut the largest rectangle from the Heffy Doodle Stitched Slimline Trio Dies in white cardstock. For my table, I used the Ain't So Plaid Stencil and inked with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. The top portion is ink blended with Tattered Rose and I splattered some black and rose gold acrylic paint for interest. I then white heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock. Next, I adhered the elements down onto the card. Lastly, I adhered my panel onto a slimline card base. I stenciled through the Winter Words with Finnabair Snowflake Paste for a fun background. I then made a mug shaker using the Winter Mug Dies and the cutout to make a window for the shaker is from the Birthday Mug Additions Dies. The shaker bits are from the Christmas Cookie Shaker Beads . I used various colors of cardstock from Spellbinders for my card. I added a cute little bird from the Holiday Birds Dies and a couple gifts using the rectangle pieces from the Build A Stocking Dies. The rest of the die cuts are from the new Holiday Mug Additions Dies.  Then I added some pink dots on the greenery with Liquid Pearls in Ballerina. Lastly, I glued the card panel onto a 4.5-inch square card base. Make sure to check out the rest of the Hop for more inspiration using the new products from Pretty Pink Posh! There ar...

Hello friends! Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh February 2023 Release Blog Hop and happy  9th birthday, PPP!  Today, I’m sharing a birthday card and a gift card holder that I made using dies and stencils from the new Birthday Release.  For my card, I started with an A2-sized white cardstock that I ink blended with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed some water for an oxidized effect and also splattered some white ink on it. I then took a scrap of white cardstock and used finger daubers to ink blend Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow colors. I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Lucky Clover, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet. I sprayed water, splattered white ink, and cut the rainbow colored panel with the WISH die. I also cut the flame from the Birthday Mug Addition Dies and ink blended it with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink.  Next, I stamped the sentiments with black ink then foam mounted WISH and the flame on the card panel. I also added so...
