You're So Sweet - Pretty Pink Posh

Hi crafty friends. Today I am sharing a square-shaped card today, using the strawberry die from the Valentine Mug Addition Dies. This set is a perfect addition to the previously-released Winter Mug Dies

I first cut a 5” square white cardstock and ink blended it through the Grid Stencil with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I then cut the Wonky Stitched Square in patterned paper. You can also make a gingham pattern with the  Wide Stripes or the Pinstripe Stencil. I then stamped the sentiment in the center of the wonky square panel. I foam mounted it on the card panel and added jewels for added interest.

For the strawberries, I watercolored scraps of paper in red, green, brown, and white pearlescent. I then cut the strawberry from the Valentine Mug Addition. The swirls and little hearts are just too cute! For the pink dip, I used pink cardstock and added Liquid Pearls in White Opal. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto a 5.25” square card base.

That’s all for this sweet strawberry card. I hope that I’ve inspired you to create a card with the Valentine Mug Addition Dies. Thanks for stopping by!

Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Gerda Steiner Designs Collaboration Blog Hop! Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies! For this fun collaboration, I made a slimline birthday card. To begin, I stamped, colored, and cut images from Gerda Steiner Designs - On the Table , On the Bookshelf and the new Heffy Doodle Popping By stamp set. I then cut the largest rectangle from the Heffy Doodle Stitched Slimline Trio Dies in white cardstock. For my table, I used the Ain't So Plaid Stencil and inked with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. The top portion is ink blended with Tattered Rose and I splattered some black and rose gold acrylic paint for interest. I then white heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock. Next, I adhered the elements down onto the card. Lastly, I adhered my panel onto a slimline card base. I also cut the flame from the Birthday Mug Addition Dies and ink blended it with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink.  Next, I stamped the sentiments with black ink then foam mounted WISH and the flame on the card panel.
